1. Service Description

Quadrant (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a competitive intelligence platform that monitors publicly available information about competitors, generates AI-powered analysis, and delivers weekly digest briefings to your team (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service at usequadrant.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

2. Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You must promptly notify us at legal@quadrant.io if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to engage in any unlawful activity or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to access, scrape, or interfere with systems or data you are not authorized to access.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Service or its outputs without our prior written consent.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe upon the rights of others.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payment Terms

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe.
• Free trials provide full access within plan limits for 14 days. No payment is required until the trial ends.
• Prices are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no prorated refunds are provided for partial periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, and documentation, is owned by Quadrant and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

AI-generated outputs (digest summaries, competitive analysis) are provided for your internal business use. You may use these outputs within your organization but may not represent them as original research produced without AI assistance where disclosure is required.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quadrant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Competitive intelligence outputs are based on publicly available information processed by automated systems. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any analysis or digest.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law. You may request a data export before terminating your account.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as determined by applicable law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
